Garageband keeps hanging

I'm a new switcher so I might be doing something wrong, but every time i try to export from garageband to iTunes, GB hangs. It starts the mixdown and gets about 99% of the way across...........then it sits. And sits. When i look in the activity monitor it says "GB not responding."

Programs that hang - it makes an old Windows guy feel at home LOL.

Before I move back to my trusty PC which does this just fine, can anyone shed some light?

Might be an issue with iTunes. Make sure you have the latest version (run Software update from the Apple menu).

As a workaround, try just exporting the file to your desktop and then manually drag it to iTunes.

I found a fix - I had to rebuild my file permissions. Like I said, I'm new so I hadn't heard about this yet. Seems to have worked.
