Hello all

I am a graphic designer and I am applying for some jobs but I'm not happy with my folio. Is there anywhere where I can get dummy briefs or something like that where I can make my own ads, logo's, etc. up to put in my folio?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

iBook G3 - You'll be missed.
You could create your own, I'd look around at exaples and then build one from a design you like, or something of the similar.

I second that. It would be much more impressive to have original designs to showcase.

I'll let you design ads logos and brochures for my company and I won't even charge you. Then you can use them in your folio.

heheh, traditionally it's the designer who charges the client....hmm
But since you're giving him rights to the work, I guess it's fair.

Glad I'm not the only one who caught that... I was going to say the same thing. If you want work done by a designer, you don't charge them... they charge you.

well I'm a graphic artist, so there's no way I couldn't comment there. I don't think designers would last too long if they were charged by clients to design. :p heheh
It'd be win-win for the client, and one less week of food for the designer.
