Hello, Im looking at buying the following ram for my brother's 30GB, 700mhz v2.1 eMac:

http://www.savastore.com/productinf...Savastore&product_id=10011167&pid=44&rstrat=0

thinking of buying two lots of 256mb. or one lot of 512 if i can ever find one!

He has an eMac with 128mb SD RAM (1 slot free). It needs DIMM 3.3v, unbuffered, 64-bit wide, 168 pin, pc-133 type ram.

As far as i can tell, the ram at the link below could be correct but i dont want to go buying it if its wrong!

Can anybody confrim that the type above is right?

Yes, that eMac will take PC-133 RAM.

I read the apple doc which states he needs

* DIMM
* 3.3V
* Unbuffered
* 64-bit wide, 168-pin module
* PC-133 compliant

Im thinking of buying two lots of this:

http://www.savastore.com/productinf...Savastore&product_id=10011167&pid=44&rstrat=0

(Aries 256Mb 168pin 133MHz SDRAM DIMM RAM Memory)

However, it does not mention anything about voltage 64-bit or unbuffered!

What would happen if the voltage was incorrect or it wasnt 64 bit or it was buffered? Or is this unlikely in this type of ram?

Many thanks :)
