My cursor is disappearing when I'm typing in Word, and also in Excel. Any ideas? I have A MacBook and i´m using Word taken from my old G3. My operation system is MAC OS 10.4.6
Thanks,

Does it come back when you move the mouse? This happens to me sometimes.

I think it's supposed to do that, certainly in Word, or let me put it another way - I'm still a Windows user and it happens on the 3 PCs I've just tried it on. Not sure about Excel though as on my machines - the cursor always remains.

Dave

PS: I think the cursor is supposed to 'vanish' so that its not in the way when your typing something.

You are correct. The cursor is supposed to disappear while you are typing. It should reappear as soon as you move the mouse.

I lose my cursor all the time, especially in net browsers. Annoying...but I just live with it.
