well, I downlaoded "the missing sync" for my powerbook.. but now not needing it I dragged the application to the trash and got rid of it.

I forgot all about the little icon it puts up near my bluetooth/wireless connectoni activity in the top right corner...

can anyone give me any pointers on how to get rid of it? Thank you.

You can end processes in Activity Monitor. I just looked around and missing sync had an uninstall program with it when you installed it so you should have uninstalled it from there

Yeah. Maybe try re-installing it, then running the uninstall program?

Even though its not un-installed there is a way to remove how ever many objects from the menu bar, that is to hold down command and click an drag the icon off the menu bar, it will poof as if you were dragging it off the dock.
