i couldnt really figure out were to post this. anything goes looked inviting....anyway. so yeah i run into this problem were certain websites (youtube, myspce etc..) will rn the videos bu im getting no sound. ive narrowed it down pretty much to either real or flash player. i have reloaded the real but everytime i load the flash i cant find it anywere and there is no change in the no sound situation. help a guy out on this one?

Hey

Are either of you running audacity at any point before this happens?
There is documented problems of audacity causing music to stop responding especially online.

Usually a quick restart fixes it, although i beleive the actual reason behind it is due to audacity changing the sampling rate beyond the capabilities of the mac sound chip.
