I've recently acquired a macbook 2ghz and this is the first time I'm using the inbuilt isight camera. I'd like to know if there's a way of using the isight with popular chat messengers like yahoo and msn? If so, how?

Thanx,

For yahoo, download the latest yahoo messenger beta:
http://messenger.yahoo.com/mac.php

For MSN, use aMSN.

I'd recommend Skype with video support for cross platform videochats, it seems to work quite well.

You can also chat with aim users using iChat, provided that they use the older version of the aim for windows client (not the latest one called triton).
