Problems with playback on garageband

I have my line 6 pod connected to my laptop....Im recording with garageband and everything is working great i hear the guitar and everything...and i could see in the bars its recording....but i after i finish recording i cant hear what i recorded????Help please....i thought it was something like the speakers or something but its not.

Garageband>Preferences>Audio/MIDI>Audio Input>Built in Line-In

should work.
