I have IP-over-FireWire set up between Mac and PC. I'd like to extend this to the PC's ethernet internet connection.
I'm reading lots of stuff online, but I'm confused as to what to do with which connection. The PC obviously has two networks, the 1394 and the Ethernet. I'm not sure which one should have the box checked for "allow other computers to use this computer's internet".
And, I have the PC automatically requesting an IP address, then an assigned one for the FireWire. The Mac is supposedly looking for the PC's FireWire IP as its host, but when I tell it to find its own IP it picks something unrelated to either of the PC's IP addresses.
Kinda lost...
