I'm currently looking to put a chatroom on my website. I currently am using software from freejavachat.com, which connects to an IRC room, but have not been happy with it's feature selection. (I would like to be able to set things like permanent colors for different users, so that it's easier to tell who is talking).
I would love to hear suggestions for free software, be it flash, java, whatever, that I could use for my chatroom. The most important thing is that it be accessible to people with dialup. Please limit this to web-based items, I am fully aware of services like AIM, Yahoo Messenger, etc.
