Flash will die, swiftly and with style.
( About time as I ran out of silver bullets. )

Cheers McBie.

Yes. I read a similar article from a different source.

About time too.

Not really swiftly, in technology standards, more like a lifetime.

Tend to agree with you, especially if you look at the current version of the browsers' compatibility with HTLM5.

Out of the 555 points, the latest browsers score @ html5test.com:

Internet Explorer 11: 287
Firefox: 395
Opera: 519

MS Edge on my W10 does not work and that's probably due to the "Shut up Windows 10" app.

On my MacBook Pro with latest update installed, Safari starts loading the the page, but then just dies. And no, I don't use "Shut up macOS" or any other apps, it's a plain vanilla version...

No matter what people say, I still think that flash was a great learning and developing experience for a lot of people. I am glad we are moving forward with WebAsembly, HTML5, and WebGL improvements are great. Let's see how the rest of the industry handles the switch, so far I only noticed youtube aggressively swapping to HTML5.
