I have accumulated far too many albums in my iPhoto. I know how to delete one or all photos from any particular album but how do I delete an individual album?

Thank you

Probably by using the application you're using or as a last resort using the Finder — NOT recommended!!!.

But before you do that, you may want to read this article that I was looking at to combine multiple libraries and photo folders that seem to have developed on my wife's iMac.

@poppi

This YouTube video, in 1 minute and 18 seconds, shows you exactly how to Delete an Album (whilst preserving the contents in your mail library). Very straightforward.

Right click on album title - select delete.

You may also want to eliminate duplicates - PhotoSweeper is a cheap app and very good.

Or as I mentioned in my #2 post: Probably by using the application you're using

In iPhoto.app, go Photos(menu) -> Delete album (for the selected album).
