Does anyone know if you can use two wireless mice at the same time on one Mac... well, 1 x magic trackpad and 1 x magic mouse (...and 1 x magic keyboard)... three wireless peripheral devices in total.

I'm currently using a track pad and a wired mouse (without issue) - i'd love to use a magic mouse instead, but i'm not sure how this will play out with bluetooth protocol.

Hmmm.

It works fine. I have the Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Mouse all connected at the same time with no issues.

The only problm I found was having two trackpads in the Bluetooth setup. Two identical units seem to cause confusion and each had problems. Deleted the one not in use and no problems. Officially Apple say you can use up to seven Bluetooth devices, but four is the maximum recommended.

@Harry Just for future reference is it necessary to delete one of the extras or can one simply unpair one of them. I've had multiple keyboards in my list at one time but the extras were either not powered up or out of range.

No problem, but if you use a trackpad, make sure that nothing sits on top of it because you'll get kookie stuff happening. I know that's kind of obvious but sometimes in the heat of battle you forget.

Yes Charlie. We have Noah to blame for that, and NOT my neighbour Rusty Crowe either.

@Harry Thanks for that bit of info about the need to unpaid and delete. I need to test that.I don't think I unpaired mine but may have gotten away with it because my "extra" keyboards were out of range/not powered up at the time.

@flyboyy I can attest to the fact that one needs to keep the trackpad clear. Over the weekend my mac started going berserk. The keyboard worked and mouse movements registered but no mouse clicks registered. After a restart I noticed that a headset had fallen on top of the trackpad. Clearing the obstruction corrected the problem immediately.
