PINK ICING! Yuk!!! That has got to be a downunder trick. I'm old enough to remember the bloke being nailed up there and his 12 mates watching, well almost, but I din never see a proper hot X bun with any icing on it. Never mind PINK!

Mind you, you lot down there have only got 4X beer, where as we have 6X beer in England

It varies from year to year. Here's a simple explanation:

The ecclesiastical rules are: Easter falls on the first Sunday following the first ecclesiastical full moon that occurs on or after the day of the vernal equinox; this particular ecclesiastical full moon is the 14th day of a tabular lunation (new moon); and the vernal equinox is fixed as March 21.

Have you memorized that yet?

Yes and no. The date for Easter and thus some of the holidays surrounding it does not fall at the same time every year. The explanation for how it's determined gives me a headache but give it a try here.

More confused now

I was just thinking last few Easters seem to have been March, or perhaps getting older I'm forgetting. But growing up I seemed to think my birthday which is mid April always seemed to be in the melee.

I don't think I've ever actually celebrated Easter. I'm agnostic, not quite in the know enough to be an atheist really, and was surprised by the number of people lately having Easter dinners! Whad I miss here?

I celebrated Easter this year by learning to use a few new EQs and compressors in my dungeon. No wine nor unleavened bread.
