When I copy mp3 files from my MAC to USB drive, I can listen without problem, but the problem is that for each file the car radio creates another file like a trash, for example for each file named aaa.mp3 it crates another named .-aaa.mp3 it is a trash that only bugs when the radio change to another song. Can anyone explain me how to eliminate this problem, when I copy from windows I don't have this problem, the problem is when I copy form my MAC.

tks

Moved your post to its own thread as it is never a good idea to tag on to an old thread.

As for the problem you're experiencing, you need to use a third party utility for copying which will suppress the hidden files that Finder automatically creates. And, it's not your car radio that's doing it, it's the Finder that does it as it moves files to the USB drive it creates hidden files. Another way is to make the hidden files on the USB drive visible and delete them.

When I did this used Toast Titanium with great results.

Thanks Craig. I thought there was a free app that did the same thing. Tinker Tool is free but only removes the hidden meta files over a network transfer. I'll have to check around and see if I can locate which app I remember being able to do that.
