Hey guys I have an old G5 mac it is outdated but I love the case of the old Macs. I wanted to know if it is possible to gut the old mother board, buy a new mother board from BandH and be able to still run the Mac OS like Yosemite? Here are the motherboards they have for sale, if this is possible which one would work? http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/Motherboards/ci/19864/N/3835434462 I was thinking of getting an I5 or I7 Processor from them as well here are there processors http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/CPUs/ci/19865/N/3835434461 I am not a computer builder, I have built a bare bone kit before but everything came recommend in the pack to work and it ran on windows not mac os. I am going to use it for video editing and needed as much ram as possible to start doing 4k and 6k video work.

This would be called building a "Hackintosh" that we don't support discussion about. Thread closed.
