There has always been speculation on what the next iPhone/apple product will look like, what features it will have, and will it finally make it's owner coffee in the morning. 
The article referenced it a bit long in the tooth (November) and since it was posted, even more speculative ones have been written. Some even claim super top secret spy leaks from vendors (or someone who saw a vendor) showing possible pictures of the case etc.
Apple loves the speculation - builds potential buyer anticipation. I like to wait for the official unveiling but then I am one who likes to wait for Christmas morning to open gifts.
