OS: Mac OS 9.2.2
Virtual memory is off.
Programs effected: Photoshop 6.0, MultiAd Creator Pro
All of a sudden, I cannot seem to open any files or create new files (CMD+N) without the program unexepectedly quitting, often with error type 3, sometimes error type 1. This is without fail, and not sporadic. As a result I can do absolutely no work. Everything else seems stable though.
I have: rebuilt the desktop
Zapped the P-RAM
Run Norton Utilities, which found errors (clump sizes) which it fixed. Reran and there are no errors.
This is really urgent, but I cannot for the life of me think what it could be. I have unplugged scanners, network, USB extension cables for keyboard, reseated RAM and checked that memory allocations are OK.
