I'm having problems removing incorrect email addresses from my Mac. For example, I have two addresses where I incorrectly entered a dot between the first name and the surname. I have edited and corrected the address in Contacts but when I start to enter the address in the address bar, the old incorrect email address appears. I have tried totally removing the contact from Contacts but this makes no difference. Seemingly there's a memory in there which is not being corrected when I do a Contacts edit. Can anyone assist please? Thanks.

That's annoying isn't it? Check out this article which shows you how you can remove those addresses that are incorrect or that you no longer use: LINK

Many thanks for this. That sorted it out in no time at all! Much appreciated - not only by me but no doubt also by the person who I'd incorrectly emailed before twigging what the problem was.
