Graphics Tablet for MacBook Air?

Hi,
I had a Wacom drawing tablet about 10 years ago for a non-Mac. I'm wondering if anyone here has used the Wacom Intuos tablet with their MacBook Air? If so, how do you like it, and what apps do you use to produce drawings?
