Is this normal???

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the site. For the past 3 months I have had quite a few very strange and suspicious things happening on my Macbook Pro, on my network and on my website.

I have reason to believe that 2 of my former partners installed malicious files on my computer and on my website. I have learned a lot about security and different files on my machine in an attempt to understand everything that I come across.

I found some strange files the other day and I was wondering if anyone on this site could tell me what they were and if they were at all suspicious.

Not without more information like - on what type of mac - year, model, OS X version and what apps are starting up and/or running. It does look like you have been looking through your Library Files. They are referring to various launching/terminating of different processes.

Have you been having any problems or issues?

I looked through my same folders and even did an unhide. I have nothing remotely like what you are showing.

Maybe with more information some of the others here can help.

No big deal, at least not from those shots!!

One is what looks like a screen shot of a Preferences folder.
The others, a GPG Suite installer or update and a jre installer no doubt for a java update.

There might be a possible need to install some anti-paranoia software though. ;D

Paranoia aside, for your own sanity - please change your home computers password and then go to apple and change your apple password. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5624?viewlocale=en_US and make certain remote login is not on in system preferences > sharing > remote login is off.
You might also like to change your WiFi network password.
Spyware is essentially malware so it might be worth running AdWare Medic from here AdwareMedic. Other than that there are a whole host of other reasons why your Mac may be running erratically.

And any type of malware is way, way down the list of those reasons in OS X.

There is nothing strange about any of the files you posted pics of.

If you are "really" concerned that someone else that had access to your Mac may have installed something on it - frankly, I'd be replacing the hard drive and installing all my stuff from scratch and why have you continued to use it for several months?
