Ok...so I came across this today (had a bit of a laugh).:D It's sort of "sciencey/techy" thing and thought you guys would like it.:)

Like we didn't already know that the hosts & guests on QVC and HSN are a bunch of empty-headed idiots. Here's a clip of a QVC host and guest arguing/debating if the moon is a planet or a star (OMG...unbelievable)!!!

QVC host: I believe the moon is a star (http://www.msn.com/en-us/video/viral/qvc-host-i-believe-the-moon-is-a-star/vi-AA8fy2b)

I feel dumber watching that. I get that science isn't everybody's "thing" but that's pretty basic astronomy.

Can't quite bring myself to watch that yet. I'm not sure I can stand to loose too many IQ points these days.

I've encountered too much anti-science recently to watch that man.

M - O - O - N, that spells moon.

Well that was an almost total waste of time, except for confirming my worst fears about the general knowledge of QVC hosts. It's worse than I thought. Gave me a laugh though.;D

Finally watched the clip. I needed the laugh. Then it got to be a little depressing when I realized how much of this kind of confusion I've heard recently.

It's shiny and bright, and it rises like the Sun, so it's obviously a star. Duh! ;)

I'm very surprised these people aren't in Congress -- specifically, on the Science committees!
