Transfer app from iPod to iPad?

I just purchased an app whose description said it was compatible with both iPod Touch and iPad. However, it is appearing only on my iPod. How can I transfer it from my iPod to my iPad? I have searched in iTunes Help but can't find an answer.

Open the App Store on your iPad, select 'Purchased' at the bottom of the page, then select 'Not on this iPad' at the top. Assuming you are logged in to the same iTunes account on both devices, the app should be available for down load.
