The video you watched was for installing Windows 7 on a PC via a USB flash drive, not on a Mac using Boot Camp.

See this: What is an iso file?

Since your MacBook Pro does not have an optical drive, Boot Camp will allow you to install Windows 7 using an iso file. Also, do not forget to download Windows 7 drivers from Apple that Boot Camp is telling you.

That's correct. You can use any machine that has an optical drive, even a Windows PC to burn the iso.

When you restarted, did you hold down the option key and point to the iso?

Note: If that doesn't work, try the install instructions from here. I know these instructions work although it involves using rEFIt.
