Hello!

I have a 2008 Time Capsule that has been working beautifully for the last...Well...Long time...THEN I changed the security of our wireless router from WPA2 to WEP so that it would support the wireless on an older laptop in our house. NOW that it's WEP, I cannot connect the Time Capsule back to my computer to perform a backup.

What am I doing wrong? Please share your thoughts! Thanks!

I highly recommend keeping WPA2 and get a newer wireless dongle or hardwire the older laptop, WEP is to easy to hack its a bad security risk.

Go back to WPA2 Personal as suggested. No security in WEP.

Agreed - Macs have had issues with WEP for years - which is a good thing since your local neighborhood 8 yr old can crack it in about 5 minutes - or less.
