Two and a half years after the government seized our money (and I'm sure most of us had written it off), we're finally getting our winnings back.

For anyone whose email with FTP is now defunct, only have until Nov 16, 2013 to make your claim.

They are finally paying the funds out - got mine yesterday.

Now what new toy do I want?

Sounds like a very positive situation Tom...congrats.:) Like you mentioned...in many cases...many folks probably would have written things off.

Did you get back 100% of the funds in question...or did the government still take "their-cut" in some way?

Got back 100% of the funds I had sitting in there - so the government only kept the 3 yrs worth of interest I'm sure they earned on everyone's money - since they probably made Full Tilt pay for the program that gave us our money back.

Yeah..not truly a 100% + interest return of funds. Still sounds like a positive situation getting 100% of your funds back (when maybe all was thought lost).:)

Better than investing $10,000 in the stock market...and 3 years later that $10,000 being worth $8500. But of course the stock market can turn around...and in 5 more years that original $10,000 could be worth $15,000.:)

As I'm sure you know...it's all gambling. Stock market or Full-Tilt Poker!;)

A macro lens, now there's a good idea.

Was thinking about the iPad Air, only I'm pretty happy with the '13 Nexus 7 for what I do with a tablet.

If google had someone other than Samdung making their 10" tablet, I'd probably spring for one of those.
