Hey guys,
Got a MBP i7 (mid-2012), 4GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 512MB of GDDR5 memory. Now I've had this laptop since the start of this year and decided to install Windows 7 on it for gaming. Played a few online games (installed and then uninstalled them when I got bored with it/ran out of memory) and even played a phase 3 beta with no problem what so ever. That is until this Friday (16/8) when I tried playing a phase 4 beta game with a shiny new external keyboard so I can go prnt scn crazy (it's a microsoft comfort curve 3000). Got through character creation, opening cut scenes with no problem but after that the BSOD started happening.
The error it gave me was a System Service Error; STOP: 0X0000003B (0x00000000C0000005, 0x0000000000000000, 0xFFFFF8800B7A80F0, 0X0000000000000000).
I've googled and updated my vid driver (direct from the website) plus done a whole host of "Update driver software" on the Device Manager. Didn't solve it at all. I've even tried playing the beta using only my MBP's built-in keyboard and trackpad but it still crashes :/ (The length till the BSOD appears during game play varies)
Funny thing is, I tried playing 'The Witcher 2' (with both mouse and keyboard attached; I've used the mouse since I've installed Windows 7 and have played games using it and there wasn't any problems) and it played well with no crashes.
Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. I'm just praying I don't have to reinstall Wins7
Cheers
