Which Mac ... ?

I currently use a pc to record my music but want to change to a mac.
I record guitars, piano and vocals.
Which mac is best for me and what about the software to go with it ?

14" MacBook Pro M1 Pro, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD
It would help to know whether you're looking at a desktop or a laptop and what your budget is.

If you're looking to keep the costs to a minimum, a Mac Mini and Garageband (which is bundled with every new Mac) should do the trick.

Also please let us know how serious you are with your music. Do you want something simple such as Garageband or do you want professional recording software such as Pro Tools or Logic?
