Looking for a reliable, easy-to-use VPN for Mountain Lion. I have PIA and it's garbage - any suggestions from users? Thanks.

OS X has built in VPN functionality. Once you install the profile, you can simply connect/disconnect from the Network preference pane.

+1 for the built-in VPN on OS X. I currently use it to connect to our Cisco VPN at work. I had previously used the Cisco client for Mac and that thing is buggy and annoying. I've found the OS X VPN to be ultra reliable. It connects immediately and stays connected and functions really well..

It's no worry free that I've sometimes forgotten that I'm logged in and stay logged in for hours on end..

When I'm working from home, I can happily stay connected throughout the entire day with no problems at all..

I thought it did, but I can't find it. How do I install the profile please?

If you have a profile, you should be able to simply double click it. You'll know if it's successful if you notice a new "Profiles" preference pane. Otherwise, follow the instructions here.

I am trying to find some simple single sylibal words describing how to set up a new profile, but your link doesn't work. Any chance of getting it to work for me please?

I am trying to use a VPN and if the Mac one is on Mavericks as well as Mountain Lion that sounds just what I need?

I have had a look at the instructions in the link, but I am terribly sorry but I have no idea as to what the server address or account name is, plus what kind of VPN connection it is I need?

Sorry to be a thicky, but I have no idea what it is asking me to do?

Just as a matter of interest, I have just done the upgrade from Mountain Lion to Mavericks this afternoon on this iMac of ours. I don't know if the upgrage today could have made any difference?

I did a clean instal on our MBP a couple of months back when I put a bigger HDD in it.

I have no idea what this info should be - only you would know that. This should have been provided by the organization/company/group that is giving you VPN access.
