I work for a school district in which we have newer iMacs in all of the classrooms running 10.8. Is there a way to allow the user to log into the network without being plugged in via Ethernet first. They would be logging in via wi-fi. Each user is already entered into the directory. I know I need to make a profile, just not sure what to do.

We have a lion server I am just not sure exactly what to do with it. I have heard of people doing this before. Any info would be great. Thanks Guys!

Have you looked under the profile manager in the OSX Server? You should be able to create the profile in there.
