office 2011

I have a mac that randomly forgot the product code for office 2011. Just went in to Word one day & it was gone so now it won't open. When I purchased the program originally I bought the 3 pack so I have it installed on another mac. The original box was stolen so I don't have the registration key. I downloaded mac product key finder for both macs and it was not part of what came up. How do I retrieve the product registration code from the mac that has the office program working?

Sorry you do not and need the activation code or purchase another one from Microsoft.

However give Microsoft a call and see if they will accept your explanation.
