I have had my Mac for a while but made what I hope is a mistake that can be undone. I have a White Polycarbonate Macbook running Snow Leopard. One of the three folders located on the right side of my Dock was deleted. I looked in the trash and it is no place to be found. I was attempting to move things around and accidentally deleted it. The only 2 left are Documents and Applications. The one that was deleted was Downloads (?).
Is it gone for good and if not, how do I get it back?

Never mind, I solved the problem. Why do we solve the problems 5 minutes after we ask for help?!

For others' benefit...

As the OP has discovered, those "folders" on the Dock are copies. The Apple term for them is Stack. To get the icon back in the Dock, find the window that the real Folder is in, highlight it, and drag it to the right side of the Dock.
