Hi guys,

My partner and I would like to merge our itunes accounts; we're married and have been together for years so it makes sense to merge our libraries.

We've recently bought Apple TV and would like to buy boxsets through it but would both like access to it and purchase everything through our joint merged accounts.

Is this possible? If so, how?

Many thanks,

Steve

You can merge two iTunes libraries, but not 2 Apple IDs

So the hassle depends on how much DRM protected Music you both have, since you have to instead use one Apple ID

The closest solution I can think of would be to attempt to play a piece of content that was assigned to one account. If iTunes complains authorize that device to play things purchased from that account. Do the same with content purchased from the other account. Unless you are at the limit for number of authorizations per account that should fix things.
