hi there, i have been using imovie for a while now and recently tried to open the programme when an error appeared saying that imovie has unexpectedly quit? i tried opening it as a guest on a different profile and the same thing came up, i also attempted to remove the plist files from library> preferences, but when i tried opening imovie they reappeared and the same message came up again. Please help me, i need this programme to work urgently

2017 27" iMac, 10.5" iPad Pro, iPhone 8, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, Numerous iPods, Monterey
Do you have your original install disk? If you do, completely remove iMovie and reinstall it from your OS X disk. You will need a special program to extract iMovie from the disk. You didn't mention anything at all about your Mac or which version of OS X it's using, but you will need Pacifist to extract iMovie.
