iPad Mini - Cannot connect to network

I can see my Orange Livebox in the list of networks and when I first tried to join, I was asked for the password. I'm pretty sure it was correct but the iPad would not join. After a few failures, the iPad has got fed up even with asking for a password and now curtly tells me that it was unable to join the network. So even if I had miffed the password, it's not giving me another chance.

My MPB and iPad2 are still working fine via the wireless connection.

Well, by resetting the network settings I was able to re-enter the password. But still cannot connect to the network. Could this be something to do with Orange limiting the number of devices which can connect?

Yes, that could have something to do with it.
