mac pro and iphone data exchange

got new retina display Mac Pro and paired with my iphone4S. message on Mac Pro says service not available on "device". iphone bluetooth says discoverable. i am freshie for both devices

You sync apps, music and so on to the iPhone over either the USB cable or WiFi. Bluetooth is not used for this, it can be used for tethering your MBP to the iPhone for Internet service which traveling and so on..

thanks, Ashwin. how do I transfer the data between 2 devices, after USB connection? i got the "connected" message but no prompt for asking data transfer from one to another.

You would use iTunes to do all the management. So instal the latest version and you can get started..
