I've been in the market for a new wireless router (dual-band) as an upgrade from my trusty DIR-655, which is still running like a champ after a number of years now.
My hope is to get something that will stretch out to my deck better, where my iPad struggles to maintain a signal. I'd also like to take advantage of the dual-band NIC in my MBP.
The N900 is consistently praised as one of the best routers in the segment, with very positive reviews from MaximumPC, amongst others. Just curious if anyone here is using one of these with a MacBook/iPad/iPhone and has an opinion of it.
I'm torn between this, the ASUS RT-N66U and potentially the AEBS, although I'm still not thrilled by the latter's lack of an SPI firewall and web-based interface, not to mention the typical Apple price premium.
