iTunes, automatically fetching podcasts

Is there a way please for iTunes (10.6.3 on 10.7.4, soon 10.8) to 'Get' (= go and fetch) the next podcast in a series once the current one has been played?

I have several multi-podcast subscriptions (not topical, so not being updated these days) which would occupy several GB if I did download them all into iTnues.

Not that I know of, sorry. Interesting idea, though. Check with Doug's Applescripts for iTunes and see if there is something like that there -- and if not, suggest it to him!

Thanks; I thought of that. There doesn't seem to be. So I emailed Doug.

It's necessary when the podcast series is complete and there are no 'new' episodes. But in those cases…

I am thinking of the same idea but are you speaking of doing this service with money or free ??

Doug's reply was that he has no script for such a sequence.

So it looks as though there's no obvious way of doing it at hand.
