ink on silk shorts

So I have a pair of silk shorts (not underwear, haha) that I like and I now have a rather nasty ink stain on them. Dry cleaner said to toss them. Any magic method of saving these shorts or should I throw them out? Thanks.

Put on a Justin Bieber mask...and run through a crowd of young girls with those shorts on. I guarantee when you exit the other side of the crowd...you'll have bigger issues to worry about (like NO shorts)!!!;)

Hair spray works on ink pretty well. Never tried it with silk, but it's worth a shot.

Nevermind. My wife had suggested something...but then I Goggled it...and it doesn't remove ink stains.:(
