I installed freeware "TimeMachineEditor" so I could better control when Time Machine would back up my HD. I didn't like it so I moved it to the trash. My Time Machine slide switch is "off" and "Options: Automatic backups off". Problem - schedule set in 'TimeMachineEditor' must still be running because HD backups still occur on old schedule.

Question - how can I get TimeMachineEditor completely out of my system?

System: Mac OS 10.7.4:Shouting:

The FAQ on their website says the following:

How do I uninstall TimeMachineEditor?
That’s really easy. You’ll probably want to use TimeMachineEditor one last time to turn it OFF, you can then trash the application.
If you were using versions prior to 2.5, you may need to use an older version to revert system settings to their defaults.

Did you do the first step, before you trashed it? If not, I would reinstall, then turn it off and then trash it again. I would also use an uninstaller application like AppCleaner to accomplish that last piece.
