I'm tired of having to carry my old powerbook to drive the scanner, need a new scanner!
Epson has always been slow at upgrading their drivers, so I've had to carry my old PowerBook along with my MacBook Pro so that I can scan.
I'm pulling out my hair trying to find the scanner I need. Would love some suggestions.
The one I've been using is the Epson 1680 Professional with ADF.
Requirements:
Needs to work with OS 10.7
Needs to have a ADF (auto document feeder) Preferably with a horizontal load not vertical. Vertical loads jamb too often.
Needs to have duplex abilities
Needs to be Voltage AC100V - 120V, 220V - 240V
Can not be one of those big floor models, needs to be a desk top model
Would be super sweet, if it would work with Acrobat Pro. Where I could just scan from there rather than some other third party software and save as pdf.
