I'm running an Imac with Lion. My Imac continually forgets what network it's connected to. Here's the routine I have to go through.

I get the message "Unable to connect to the Internet.
I go to "system preferences" "network"
It shows Wifi connected with a green light
I click on Assist me. Diagnostics
All 6 green buttons including network status are lit.
I click Continue
It asks me to select the wireless network to join
I click on 2wire222, which is my network
It joins the network and gives the message "Your internet appears to be working correctly."
Then I have internet connectivity.

This happens almost every time I try to go on the internet. Why does the Imac forget which network it's supposed to connect to and how can I fix this?

What method of encryption is your network using? And, is your network broadcasting its SSID (network name)?

I'll have to ask AT&T and get back to you with the answers to those questions. Thank you. Michael
