Since i have upgraded my mac with the ram to 2 GB then installed Leopard and then bought an airport extreme card my mac is running like the clappers :) im so glad i invested in the parts to upgrade. I was wondering if there are any other eMac users who have maxed out their computers who have had the same thing.

"The clappers", lol. What an idiom. :)

I don't have an eMac, but my experience with computers in general is very similar. Taking an old workhorse and maxing out the RAM or upgrading certain components can often make it feel like an entirely new machine (relatively speaking).

We have an eMac 1.25 and yes, when I upped the RAM to the full 2 GB the difference was great to see.
Glad to see these slightly older machines are still being fully utilised.

Cheers :)
