A buddy of mine whom is obviously a fan of this Broadway production got tickets for a special one time only free show which was today, and I was lucky enough to be his guest!
It was special in a few ways I guess. One because it was free, two because it was Josh Gad's final performance *tonight's performance has a different lead actor*, three because a bud/former co-worker of mine is actually IN the show, (guess we're not that good of buds since I didn't know, but I also saw him in Avenue Q, which I did know about) and four Trey Parker and Matt Stone (the creators of the production and South Park) were in attendance and talked up the audience a bit.
I was so slow to realize that it was them, and only caught their backsides with my camera as they were walking off stage! pffft.
The show was great! The musical productions, vocals and story really had it going on pretty well and I can see why it has been so successful. I'd recommend that anybody into that type of thing, should try and see it.
