Nature Did This

I knew the moment I took this photo that I had something very special. The intricacy and brilliant color is supreme. I would love to get this shot enlarged and displayed on my wall. I am now starting to reap the benefits of a 36.5MP sensor. I used a $138 Nikon lens to take this, the 70-300mm F/4.0-5.6G.

Wow when I saw the thread title I was expecting something related to a natural disaster.

BTW I thought we had a discussion about this already. If I kept all of the great pics you've taken you'd owe me for more hard drive space. One of us has got to stop. lol

Sorry, it's not going to happy. I'm getting familiar with my new D800 and its incredible capabilities. They include the way I can shoot at high ISO settings so I can maintain higher shutter speeds and close down the lens for sharper photos. This, in affect, gives me extended capabilities with the lenses I have in conditions unavailable to other camera owners. I'm having too much fun for one human being. LOL
