Video Converter for FLV file

Hi all

My friend has given me a video to work with and its come on a FLV file which for some reason wont play on my Mac book.

can anyone recommend a good converter or FLV player?

You need to get it to play in Quicktime first, since many Video converters use the Quicktime engine.

Then you can use the open source MPEG Streamclip to convert the file

There's also VLC to play it and Miro Video Converter to convert it (if you still choose to do so).
