Newbie programmer needs JAVA help in XCODE

Hi Im new to programming. I'm using Xcode to create a simple java app. Problem i am having is when creating a java package (package A which compiles fine), then creating another package (package B also compiles fine), then trying to import package A into package B. I get an error to the effect of package A does not exists. How do i fix this? I have folder A that contains the xcode files for package A and the same setup for package B. If someone could direct me in fixing this, would be greatly appreciated

I use a package called Eclipse for Java Programming and its great. Sorry never heard of your package - Eclipse is available for Mac and is used in Universities to teach Programming.
