I like how its smooth, and never crashes for me, my nexus seems to need a battery pull every day from freezing

Droids complain that ios doesn't open support
but that keeps the crappy apps that crash phones off the market
Comparing apps, ios truly is amazing

And my favorite thing..
..AUTO SCREEN BRIGHTNESS

1. Beautifully designed hardware
2. Fits comfortably in my hand (most Android phones fail here due to gianormous screens)
3. iOS and apps are awesome
4. App devs have a much better platform to write for
5. Retina display
6. User experience
7. Battery life
8. Lack of malware/crapware that is loaded on Android
9. Proper OS updates. New phones run current OS. Not 3+ year old OS.
10. Apple controls the phone experience. Not the carriers that don't give a crap.

I own a 3gs.

When the 1st gen iPhone came out years ago, I messed with it for 5 minutes and fell in love. IOS was so easy to figure out and powerful at the same time. I have never used another mobile OS that was (to me) so intuitive as IOS.

Like Stretch said, beautiful hardware, beautiful OS, the App store.

That's not unique to the iPhone. ;)

Do the others work as well? I have used many phones and devices outdoors and had issues with almost every one when things got bright. Never had that issue with the iPhones.

I have no idea how well it works on other phones but they do have it. In fact, some WP7 phones have an auto intensity feature that adjusts brightness based on what colour your background colour is set as (see here for instance).

For all I know, the iPhone has better auto brightness settings. I still have a "dumb phone" (I'm the kind of guy that uses a a mobile phone as a phone/texting device and nothing more) so I can't speak to any experience.

I have yet to find any reason to jailbreak my phone (or iPad, for that matter). Yes, I have read all the things that open up after jailbreaking, but there isnt any of them that, to me, is a "must."

I hate some users though who get ego or something
Like I talked to at least 2 people bout phones who really don't know a lot,and then hey are like
"Well, I have a iPhone, so..."

I love my iPhone as much ad anyone, but some people seem to define themselves by it o_O

Remember, people wont love you for what you have, but what you are

I could care less about the iPhone’s hardware…for me, its iOS and the App store. Apple could put that in a toaster and I’ll buy it.:D

I've had handhelds since the first PalmPilot. My iPhone 4s just works, and does everything I've wanted a handheld to do. It's so doggone easy.
