I have a Toyota Avensis 2010 TR which has an 'iPod' icon on the stereo and a usb hole to plug it into, but when I do it is not recognised. Do i need a connection kit, despite everything that I need seems to be there? Has updating my iPhone to iOS5 rendered the 2010 Toyota interface useless. Can I update the Toyota firmware (SD card)?
My 3gs' bluetooth isn't reliable enough to stream music so I would like to use a wire.
I would also like to control from steering wheel and don't want to use the AUX.
