So which US carriers will allow for the iPad to be used as an iPad 3 hotspot as announced by Apple?

Right now, it looks like Verizon is the only one. I think I saw where it will be offered for $80.00 per month. You probably need to verify that with Verizon though as they also have different price structures according to how much bandwidth you use.

Actually, $80.00 is Verizon's highest data offering (10GB). $50 for 5GB and $30 for 2GB.
All of VZW's data plans for the iPad will include hotspot at no additional charge.
I read that here: LINK

And pricing for both carriers' 4G data plans is here: LINK

Thanks. I caught that this morning on one of the mac blogs, too. Of course I just ordered my AT&T iPad last night.

Hopefully AT&T will be on board soon.
